Philippe Morgan drew up and negotiated the Cyd Coed bid for the Ystwyth Valley Community Woodland Initiative in 2001. He was also a member of the Hafod Advisory Committee, undertook the Tir Coed Ystwyth Valley participatory rural appraisal and the Cyd Coed Hafod Revenue Funding Study. Sustainable Forest Management manage woodlands within the valley.
